Biography

  • Laura graduated from Nottingham University in 2008 with a BAHons in Philosophy.
  • She joined the Insurance Industry in 2009 as an Underwriting Assistant on the Upstream Energy Team at Catlin (later XLCatlin / AxaXL), where she worked for 14 years, being promoted to Head of Upstream Energy, UK & Lloyd’s, in 2022.
  • In 2023 Laura joined Convex as a Senior Energy Underwriter, working across the Upstream & Offshore Renewables team.
