Convex is delighted to be working in partnership with Alzheimer’s Research UK, the UK’s leading dementia research charity dedicated to making life-changing breakthroughs in diagnosis, prevention, treatment and cure.
The charity resonates deeply with Convexians, as over half of people in the UK know someone affected by the condition, and there are currently no treatments to slow, stop or prevent the diseases, like Alzheimer’s, that cause dementia.
Supporting the next generation of talent and ensuring that there are no barriers to entry are core values of Convex. We are proud, therefore, to be supporting London Youth Choirs.
LYC is dedicated to raising voices and shaping lives. Through its citywide community of choirs and free school programmes LYC brings young people together to find their voice, develop their musical skills, and experience the joy, connection and opportunities that singing can bring.
Since 2012, 15,000 young singers have sung with LYC in its 10 choirs, schools, and community projects. With help from Convex, LYC has subsidised every place and provided free or partially free places, ensuring equitable access to all.
In May 2025, LYC launched LYC Voices, a new commercial trading arm from our London office. LYC Voices recruits from current and former members to provide a diverse pool of young vocal talent to the UK’s professional performance industries. This innovative venture provides performance opportunities for its young singers, having already achieved success in a number of high-profile ventures including Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy and singing the soundtrack for Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl.
At Convex, we believe our culture gives us a competitive advantage, and we recognise how important and integrated diversity and inclusion needs to be for a company to be the best it can be, so we go beyond ‘Diversity and Inclusion’, to ensure that a genuine and universal feeling of Belonging is part of our Convex culture.
At Convex we have collaborated with iCAN, the Insurance Cultural Awareness Network. They are an industry wide independent network that supports multicultural inclusion across the insurance sector. iCAN is partnering up with Convex Insurance and Reinsurance to celebrate the benefits of inclusion and diversity in the insurance sector by hosting a series of events.
We’re thrilled with our formal partnership with @ Link: LGBTQ+ Insurance Network. Link’s Mission is to make the insurance industry the employer of choice for the LGBTQ+ community and we are proud to be supporting LGBTQ+ inclusion in insurance. We are excited to collaborate with Link throughout 2023 and look forward to working with the Link team to support their mission and our own inclusion efforts.
