Convex Re Bermuda authorised to write excess and surplus lines in the U.S.
Published October 7, 2025Convex Group, the international specialty insurer and reinsurer, today announces that its Bermuda reinsurance company, Convex Re Limited, has been added to the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) Quarterly Listing of Alien Insurers with effect from 01 October 2025. This allows Convex Re Ltd Bermuda to write U.S. excess and surplus lines across the United States.
Paul Simons, CEO, Bermuda, said: “We are delighted to have been added to the NAIC listing. This recognition enables us to expand our offering to include U.S. surplus property lines, strengthening the service and solutions we provide to our clients.”
