Biography
- Strategic advisor to the Insurance sector for over 40 years with broad experience across the insurance industry sectors including property & casualty and reinsurance as well as life and annuity.
- Most recently, a senior Partner at Deloitte where he served as the Lead Client Service Partner for the firm’s largest and most complex US and global insurance clients. Gary served as a C-Suite and Board advisor on driving sustainable growth, business model transformation, mergers and acquisitions, operations, technology modernization, transforming finance functions and improving enterprise risk and internal control capabilities.
- Vice Chairman and Deloitte’s US and Global Insurance Leader (2011 to 2022) during which Gary developed and steered practice strategy, P&L performance and operations, and talent strategy and development across 5,000 professionals. Worked with our global client service teams to coordinate services, marshal resources globally and form strategic alliances with technology partners
- As a community leader, Gary serves as the Audit Committee Chairman of the Newark Museum of Art, the largest museum in New Jersey.
